color street nail wraps

I love expressing myself with manicures. For getting artsy, I like to use Color Street 100% Real Nail Polish Strips. It gives me nail art without any artistic ability!

Tip: I choose a nail polish that goes with the stickers to fix any little chips that may happen during the week. When you are ready to remove, just use your normal nail polish remover.

Tip: If there is a lot of glitter in the design, you may want to use the foil method. Cut foil strips about 3 inches by 3 inches. Soak a cotton pad in polish remover and place it on your nail. Wrap the pad and your finger in foil. Do all the nails on one hand. Wait five minutes, then twist as you pull the foil and cotton off your finger. You may need to go back in with another cotton pad, but this will soften up the glitter.

Tips On How To Remove Color Street Nails Easily • Keeping It Simple

Color Street nail strips can be applied quickly and are dry when you are finished (base coat and top coat are built in!) Applying the strips takes about 30 minutes to be completely bonded to your nail, but I’ve typed, done laundry, and other things as soon as I was done with no chipping. The price is similar to high quality nail polish, but you will get one or two applications out of a set.

Color Street comes in solid colors, glitters, glitter design, and nail art design. They have a very clever way of doing different color French tips, too. Also, you should check out the pedicure designs! I’m adding Color Street to my nail polish collection because it’s a simple, fast way to get really cute nail art on my nails!

I may not wear many dresses or skirts or much makeup, but having my nails done has always been where my girlie-ness shines. I just feel put together when my nails are painted.

Color Street Nail Polish Strips For Easy Nail Art

So, when I heard there was a new nail polish that applies dry to the touch and presses on like a sticker, I was

. YES PLEASE to an easy manicure that takes less than 10 minutes. I kept raving about them so much (you may have seen them on my IG stories) that Shana encouraged me to do this review here and share the love.

If you haven’t heard of Color Street yet, I am excited for you because your journey to having pretty nails just got way easier. Color Street is a brand of 100% nail polish strips that apply with no heat and no special tools, and are dry-to-the-touch immediately. Each set has 16 double-ended strips and ranges from $11-$14. Such a deal for an easy, smudge-free mani, you guys. They offer a wide range of solid colors, glitters, nail art and French tips, and I’ll say the new fall shades they recently released are on point.

All of these above are manicures I’ve done over the last few months. You can see that it’s super-easy to do some custom nail art with these babies, too! Since they’re in strip form you can simply cut them into different shapes.

Color Street is a game changer when it comes to the nail polish world, which hasn’t seen a major technological update since the early 1900’s when the nail polish bottle was created. Other nail stickers have come out, but these are actual polish. It’s an amazing technology because it solves so many problems with the traditional liquid format. You know I love problem-solvers, in fashion and beauty. I love that I can stop mid-manicure and make Sienna a snack or let Camper outside. I used to get gel manicures often, but the cost, time and damage to my nails made it less-than-fun for me. It became more of a chore. These, however, are so fun, especially since they are coming out with new shades now monthly!

I do sell these nail strips as a side biz, and though I’ve never done or really been a fan of direct sales before, this product was so good I decided to give it a try.

The only reason I decided to start that side business is because this product is THAT good, and the start-up kit was a steal. I’d recommend it regardless, but it has also been an easy, fun way to meet some amazing new friends and geek out on nail polish as a job. Ha.

In our newest style guide, 35 Ways to Wear a White T-Shirt, we take a look back at some of our all-time favorite outfits featuring (yup, you guessed it) a good ol' white tee. Now that my nails have become longer and healthier, I’m finding joy in at-home manicures again. I’ve only recently gotten on board with the whole nail wrap craze after my first ever successful attempt earlier this year. Now that I’m not a beginner at the process, I’m finally venturing into other brands in hopes of finding more ways to dress up my nails easily.

Recently, a pile of new designs of Color Street nail strips landed in my lap. These looked particularly interesting, and unique from other nail wraps I’ve tried, as they’re made up entirely of actual nail polish— they’re not just stickers. The strips are polish that’s almost completely dry, but has enough flexibility to stretch a bit before setting completely.

Something to note: Color Street is a brand that is sold through independent representatives, but they also sell directly on their website if you don’t live near a “nail stylist” or just don’t want to deal with in-person sales.

Nail Wraps Are The Mani Shortcut You Didn't Know You Needed—here's How To Apply Them

Color Street has nail strips for both manicures and pedicures, though I’ve only tried the manicure version so far. Inside each kit, you’ll find eight sizes of nail strips, with two strips per size (16 total). While that may seem like enough considering you only have ten nails, I didn’t feel like I had enough size variety to get the perfect fit width-wise. I’d say most of the strips are mid-sized, with only the smallest one being close enough to fit my pinky, but still not fully covering it. So if you mess up beyond redemption of a single strip, you may be out of luck. Also inside the kit is a Nail Prep Pad and a cute nail file to help trim the tip of the strip once it’s applied

Since the strips are made out of real nail polish, they’re thin and very delicate. It took a bit of time for me to get used to handling them, as I’m used to a thicker plastic feel with the brand I previously used. Because they stretch easily, it’s also easy to
